Reykjavík is the capital city of and also the largest city in Iceland. Amazing city in its own rights , it is also known as City of museums . Apart from usual museums you would expect in a regular European capital City, it has Phallological (Penis) Museum and Perlan museum. My time was very limited in the capital city . I stayed in Dalur YHA . located neighbourhood of Laugardalur. I went for Laugardalslaug pool next door which is the largest in Reykjavik with two 50m swimming pools, slides, paddle areas, and of course plenty of geothermal hot tubs. Later in the afternoon I went for half hour stroll to downtown Reykjavik along the seafront, and admire the view of the Esja and Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
After doing Laugavegur trail , I stayed in a hotel for a night and that night I managed to get glimpses of northern lights.
Last day was short day , I was dropped at the same YHA after finishing South Coast. I vistied Hallgrímskirkja Church, took the lift to the top and watched magnificient skyline of Reykjavík
