I landed in Faro airport at 12 PM. Faro is the capital of famous Algarve region of Portugal. I booked my transfer to Vilamoura from Airport. Vilamoura is one of the finest resort towns in Porugal. However due to wet weather my boat tour was cancelled . I spend the day walking around town. Vilamoura is famous for its beach , resorts and million dollar yachts parked at the marina .

My next destination was Lagos. The town is famous for its old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Still sea was choppy, I received a mail saying my boat trip was cancelled. I roamed around, first day I went to Praia do Camilo. Next day I visited few other beaches walked to Ponta da Piedade. I also walked to Praia dos Pinheiros.
I went to Algrave in early April. It was low season and pretty cold then . This is a perfect place to bask in sun and try some special seafood of the region. I tried Cataplana , prepared using special copper cookware.
