Iguazu falls and rain-forest

🇦🇷 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 Iguazu falls and the national reserve is divided between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. A magnificent display of over 250 cascading waterfalls, Spanning almost 3km across the borders of Argentina and Brazil, the Cataratas del Iguazú (in Spanish) or Foz do Iguacu (in Portuguese) make a splash as the largest waterfall system on the planet; step aside, Niagara. I flew to Iguazu straight from Buenos Aries . It was a long flight from all the way to London. In the peak of summer , the weather was very hot and humid. I had full 2 days…

Argentina … Ushuaia

🇦🇷 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 Ushuaia is the southernmost city of the world. It's a small but beautiful city surrounded by high peaks of Patagonia. For me Ushuaia was gateway to Antarctica , so I did not spend enough time otherwise I would like to. I arrived Ushuaia morning of Jan 9th. I spent the whole day walking in Tierra Del Fuego national park. Only spare time I had was the morning of 10th to explore Ushuaia . My ship was to depart in the afternoon so few hours I had , I used to visit…

Argentina …. Buenos Aries

🇦🇷 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 I effectively had one full day to do some sightseeing in Buenos Aries. It was too less to do any justice to this beautiful city. This city is often called Paris of South America. Stunning architecture , side walks and and cafes probably has some similarity but this place has its own rich culture . Unfortunately January is peak summer in BA and it was super hot and humid. My hotel was just opposite to the Obelix and I had a grand view from my window. My flight from Ushuaia was…

ISLAS BALLESTAS: The poor man’s Galapagos

🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 I left Lima at 3 AM bus to reach Paracas. I already had reservation with an agency but they did not turn up. Luckily there was another  company who were conducting boat trip for a group. So I spoke to them and they happily agreed. The boat trip from Paracas to Islas Ballestas is 24 kilometers and it took us about 30 minutes to get there. On our way we saw Paracas Candelabra, a geoglyph that sits on a hill overlooking the water. The Paracas Candelabra is 180 meters tall and it can…
