We stayed the last day of Austria trip at Seegasthof Gamsjaga. This place is on the bank of lake Wolfgangsee. It was a very scenic location food was great specially fish from lake and local game meat. Next morning I walked around the lake and walked towards St Gilgen along the lake. St Gilgen is a very pretty village on the north bank of Wolfgangsee.
From St. Gilgen it was almost 2 hours train journey to Munich. We had our return flight in the evening. We took a hop – on hop – off bus trip . Ticket for the trip is valid for 2 days.
We did not have time to visit too many places so we just got down at Marienplatz and the Viktualien market with its colorful outdoor stalls. We reached early at Munich airport because Anwesha left bio-metric residence permit at home. Easyjet folks did not allow her to board the flight . She stayed one extra night at Munich till I couriered the card to her hotel.
