The weekend gateaway started on a Friday night, around 2 hour flight from London Gateweek to Bergen. Bergen is city on Norways southwestern coast and 2nd largest city in Norway. The bergen airport is quite small and faraway from city but a direct bus from airport to city center takes us directly to Radisson Blue Norge.

Next day was 30th April , incidentally Fjordkraft Bergen City Marathon (FBCM) was scheduled that day . The city was brimming with people with participants from all over the world.

The day started taking a bus from fish market towards hospital. After 10 mins walk I was at the base of Ulriken. Ulriken is highest of 7 mountains which surrounds the city of Bergen. The cable car from the base of the mountain took me to the top of Ulriken. Mount Ulriken is 630M above sea level with a viewing platform and restrurant at top.

Next was a panaromic hike across Vidden from Ulriken to Floyen. This is a 13 Km hike across highland of 7 miuntains surrounds the city. Starting from Ulriken first stop were Storevaren, Rundemanen mountain, Brushytten and finally Floyen. Then the cable car from Floyen took me down to city centre.
